Design: 4 sets of stereo pre outputs via balanced XLR connectors and
a single set via unbalanced RCA/phono connectors, 6 unbalanced line-level
inputs, 4 balanced inputs, tape monitor and record out. Input number
"6" was ommited as the input switches on the front panel
represent their relative positions on a clock face - there is no
input switch where 6 o'clock would be, so no "input 6".
Remote control with logic-controlled input switching and motorised
volume pot. Touch-sensitive buttons on the fascia. Two sets of voltage
trigger outputs enable the activation of The Pre to simultaneously
power up matching Alchemist
